Electricity, Water and Gas Authority. It is responsible for all the services provided for the three utility requirements. This authority is also responsible for providing service in all the cities of the Emirates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This authority worked as a private entity even before Sharjah was named a part of the UAE. In recent times, this authority worked as an independent entity after following the directive given by the His Highness of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. His highness is the supreme most member of the Supreme Council. His Excellency Dr Rashid Alleem has served in that capacity as SEWA&#8217;s chairman since 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Power and water facilities are located by SEWA Sharjah in places including Wasit, Layyah, Hamriya, Kalba, and Khor fakkan.
