About Emirates REIT

Emirates REIT, United Arab Emirates, is the UAE's largest listed Sharia-compliant Real Estate Investment Trust and the first DFSA licensed Real Estate Investment Trust.

Emirates REIT was established in 2010 and is the Middle East's first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). It was also the first REIT listed in the Gulf on 8th April 2014 on Nasdaq Dubai in DIFC. It has a prominent list of investors like Dubai Properties, Tecom, and Dubai Islamic Bank. The primary objective of Emirates REIT is to allow investors to invest in a diversified portfolio of Real Estate that promises high ROI across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, and educational.

Emirates REIT has a strong portfolio of high-quality assets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It has a record of providing consistent returns to investors, and the Real Estate investments are professionally managed by experts who abide by the highest standards. Emirates REIT thrives on sustainability, and its fundamental objective is to reduce its carbon footprint.

It has taken the initiative of installing solar panels in some buildings, significantly reducing energy consumption. Abdulla Ali Obaid Al Hamli Managing Director

Mr Abdulla Ali Obaid Al Hamli has been the Managing Director of DIB since July 2013. He completed his B.Sc. with majors in Economics and Mathematics from Al Ain University and has completed several international professional development programs.

He has an extensive career graph, wherein he served as the CEO of DIB and as its Executive Vice President of Business Services. Mr Al Hamli served as COO and Information Technology at DIB for nine years, with over a decade and a half of experience as the Director of Information Systems at the Dubai Ports Authority and Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Sylvain Vieujot

Mr Sylvain Vieujot, with 30 years of experience, is the co-founder and Group Chairman of Equitativa Group. He is also the Executive Deputy Chairman of Equitativa (Dubai) Limited. Mr Vieujot arrived in Dubai in 2005 and launched Emirates REIT in 2010 in a joint venture with the Dubai Islamic Bank.

This was the first Real Estate Investment Trust listed as Shari’a compliant in the Middle East in 2014. Mr Vieujot completed his engineering in computer science, microelectronics, and electro-technology and completed his Master’s in Entrepreneurship from the Haute Ecole of Commerce (HEC), France.

Magali Mouquet

Ms Magali Mouquet, with 30 years of extensive experience, is the co-founder and Group Chairwoman of Equitativa Group and CEO of Equitativa (AD) Limited. She has experience creating and structuring companies for long-term growth and IPOs.

She managed Emirates REIT’s IPO on Nasdaq Dubai, the first listed Shari’a-compliant REIT in the Middle East. She is a Harvard Business School Alumni and a certified IRO and works with several other companies like Freelance.com and Enata Group.

Thierry Leleu

Mr Thierry Leleu, CEO of Equitativa, has more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment and financing with him. He was the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for DICO Group and the Chief Investment Officer of Cromwell European REIT, a Singaporean-listed trust. There, Mr Leleu worked towards IPO forecasts for eight consecutive quarters and increased the AUM by 50%.

Florence Le Fur

Florence Le Fur joined Equitativa in 2012 as Head of acquisitions and is now the Group Investment Director at Equitativa Group. She manages the real estate acquisitions and investment processes of Emirates REIT and The Residential REIT.

Florence has over 20 years of experience in investment analysis, valuations, and acquisitions across Europe and the Middle east. She has done her Master’s in Commercial Real Estate from the University La Sorbonne, Paris, and in Real Estate Management from ESSEC, Business School Paris.

Alain Debare

Mr Alain Debare manages the Real Estate Portfolios of the Equitativa Group and concentrates on the property managers and teams. He has a vast experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel owner, developer, and asset manager.

He worked with Mandarin Oriental and Hilton Hotels Corporation before he joined Equitativa in September 2018. Mr Debare is fluent in several languages, has been certified by hospitality investments and asset management from Cornell University, and has completed a Master’s in Hotel Management from Institut Paul Bocuse – IGL Lyon in France

Sheikh Muhammed Moeen

Sheikh Muhammed Moeen joined Equitativa Group in July 2019 as Group Finance Director. He was a Chartered Accountant in Pakistan, England, and Wales with 18+ years of experience in International banking and financial services.

He has extensive experience in company formations, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. He has experience working with the local affiliate of Bank of America-Merrill Lynch as the Group CFO.
