About DMCC

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is the UAE's most prominent free trading zone in the JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers), Dubai. It was founded in 2002 to offer the structural, industrial, and financial structure needed to build a world market hub city. It is the globe's most interrelated free place and the top commodity for trading and corporate hubs.

A unique combination of Free Zone status, state-of-the-art commercial and residential property and top-tier items and financial services, puts DMCC in a class of its own. Added to this, ongoing investment in the most interconnected, innovative infrastructure and leading business services makes it easy to trade anywhere in the world. Moreover, DMCC's commercial and residential assets include gold, gemstones, metals, tea and coffee centres, and industrial materials. DMCC is a residence for major multinational organisations and start-ups. It provides over 20,000 global amenities with cutting-edge technology. In addition,  DMCC contributes approximately 10% of Dubai's GDP.

Further, the Development Corporation of Dubai, a sovereign investment fund, became the parent organisation of the independent DMCC in August 2020. DMCC has grown from the beginning of a 28-member firm in 2003 to the world's most significant free area in 2022, with 22,000 corporate partners from 180 countries and over 65,000 employees.

Under Mr Bin Sulayem's governance, DMCC has launched a variety of valuation goods and services into the marketplace. For the 8th consecutive year, DMCC has also been designated the 'Worldwide Free Zone for the Year' by The Economic Times fDi Magazine in 2022.
