Aldar Headquarters Building

The Aldar Headquarters is in Abu Dhabi, close to Al Raha Beach. The city and the ocean surround the building due to its prominent location and visibility from the Abu Dhabi-Abu Dhabi Highway. The Aldar Headquarters has a unique design, featuring two rounded shapes connected by a narrow strip of corrugated glass to create its innovative hemispherical building faces. The whole glass elevation of this well-known structure is round and bends in different directions.The 121-meter-tall, renowned commercial structure is the headquarters for an Abu Dhabi-based property company named Aldar. Arup became the main consultant for the project after MZ & Partners completed the design in Qatar in 2005. The construction of the cores, which represent the initial building engineering concept, was completed in less than 12 months. The structure, which has 23 stories and 62,000 m2 of office space, was created using the LEED grading system of the American Green Building Council.One of the most widely visited attractions in the Middle East is the Aldar Headquarters, a stunning architectural marvel that combines creativity and originality. Being the first circular structure in Abu Dhabi, its design has won praise worldwide. Even though it's a business hub and not accessible to the general public, driving around allows one to still enjoy its beauty from a distance.
