Founded in 2013, the International Concept for Education (ICE), Dubai strives to provide a bilingual experience to its students. It offers mixed-gender education for all four sections — kindergarten, elementary, college, and high school.

As a French school, it is accredited by the Ministry of Education and associated with the Agency for French Education Abroad. At the same time, it is part of the IB World Schools and adopts the PYP methodology for its international curriculum.

ICE follows the French and IB curriculums to prepare students in two major leading languages of the world — English and French. Besides that, Arabic is also taught to the native students.

Admission and Fees

How to Apply for International Concept for Education, Dubai Step-By-Step Process

Internal Concept of Education offers admission to all students inclusively. They can seek admission either at the beginning of the academic year or midway. 

A basic understanding of the French language is an important criterion for new students. ICE accepts UAE-based and non-UAE students. The admission procedure is the same for both.

The school also provides sibling and staff discounts.

You can apply for ICE, Dubai in the following way:

Step 1: Application Process

Parents can contact the administration to get a guided tour of the school. Once you’re satisfied, you can fill out the admission form. Submit it along with the necessary documents to the school registration department or email it to admission@icedubai.org.

Pay the admission fee of AED 1,000 (per student) to close the application process.

Given below is the list of all the required documents (besides the registration form):

  • Copy of student’s birth certification (translated into either Arabic or English)
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Copy of official guardian’s passport
  • Copy of student’s passport
  • Copy of the migration/transfer certificate (translated into either Arabic or English)
  • Student’s past school record
  • Student’s health record (vaccination certificates)
  • Emirates ID double-sided (parents and student)
  • Other documents (medical diagnosis, psychological reports, etc.), if applicable

Step 2: Assessments

Next, the admission committee goes through your application. Students from French schools are given admission based on their past academic performance. While other students must clear the admission assessment.

Those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are assessed by the SEND coordinator. 

Step 3: Offer Letter

The school sends out offer letters to approved students along with deadlines to confirm the admissions. Parents must pay seat confirmation fees (10% of the annual tuition fees) in advance to complete the process. This amount will be deducted later on from the fees of that year.

Transportation Facility at International Concept for Education

School bus service is available for ICE students. The transportation supplier is RTA-approved (Road and Transportation Authority). 

The monthly transportation fee per student is AED 1,000. This stands irrespective of the student’s location (bus stop), number of holidays, and number of students per family.

Here’s the registration process for transportation in detail:

  1. Complete the School Bus Registration Form.
  2. Make sure the transportation supplier covers your location.
  3. Submit the form to the school and pay the fees.

Sports Facilities at International Concept for Education

The International Concept for Education blends fitness activities with extra-curriculars to create a holistic sports experience for its students. Parents can register their children for basketball, gymnastics, soccer, tennis, Zumba, ballet, hip-hop, and mixed martial arts. 

A minimum of five registrations are required for most activities, while some require eight registrations.
