Established in 2011, GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi helps students reach their full academic potential. It started off as a small school that taught students ages 4 to 12. However, since it relocated to Al Reem Island in 2022, the school caters to children 4 to 18.

The GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi uses the International Baccalaureate, a unique method of instruction. This helps create a vibrant, varied, and welcoming environment for all students to flourish. Students study in a nurturing, encouraging environment that makes them feel secure, satisfied, and valued.

There are 664 students at GEMS World Academy that represent 60 plus nationalities. Most of them are Indians, Emiratis, Americans and Pakistanis. KEY STAGE 1: KG 1 to Grade 1

KEY STAGE 3: Grade 6 to Grade 7

Students in the Middle Years Programme, which runs from 11 to 16 years, are expected to become engaged learners.
