I have been living in Al Quoz 2 for five years, and I have to say it’s the best neighbourhood I’ve ever lived in. There is no traffic here, unlike many places in Dubai. The walkability score is also high. And for my favourite part, the rent is incredibly affordable.
I’ve lived in Al Quoz 2 for the past 3 years with my wife and two kids. I love it here, and I am certain it’s a safe neighbourhood for small families. My kids have never felt threatened or had to worry about their safety. It’s a great place for kids and have plenty of space to play outdoors.
I came from a large family and was looking for a large villa to move into, which wasn’t too expensive. Luckily I stumbled upon Al Quoz 2. Been living here I have no complaints about this place. The villas are well-equipped, spacious rooms; along with ample parking.
It’s a bit of a pain because there are no buses or metro stations within walking distance from where I live, so I always have to take a cab. My only recommendation would be to have a private vehicle so that you are not dependent on cab services like Uber or Careem to get around.
I recently moved to Al Quoz 2, and I have to say that I don’t regret it one bit. The location is perfect because it’s close enough to almost everything but far enough that you’re not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Plus, the rent is unbelievably affordable!
