Moved here a couple of years ago as my place of work is within the Industrial City. The homes are great, all basics are taken care of, and most importantly, the rents are affordable.
If the daily commute to and from work is something you want to avoid, this is the place to live, especially if you work here. Remember that it’s best to have your vehicle for communicating within the Dubai Industrial City.
It is a convenient place to live in for people employed here, but there is nothing much to do here to unwind. Yes, there is a small mall here for basic retail therapy and a few restaurants, but for other activities, you must head towards Downtown Dubai.
I moved here 3 years ago and loved the peace this locality offers. The living communities are a fair distance away from the commercial zones, so you are not bothered by the hustle and bustle of what goes on there.
If you are a bachelor working in DIC, this is the best place to live. All your basics are available nearby, rents are affordable, and you save time and money from the city. If you have kids, they might not have much to do here.
