How to Apply for Emirates International School Meadows - Step-by-Step Process

The following steps outline the process to apply to the school:

Online Application: Start by filling out and submitting the online application form on the school’s website. Then, submit the required documents along with a non-refundable application fee of AED 525. Note that a Transfer Certificate must be properly attested if it comes from schools outside certain countries.

Reference Number: Receive a reference number within 72 hours of submission. Contact the admissions office using this number to move forward in the process.

Assessment and Interviews: Depending on the grade level:

  • Early Years: No assessment is required; children must be toilet trained and communicative.
  • Year 1 to Year 3: Undergo a teacher-led assessment in Mathematics and English.
  • Year 4 to Year 11: Complete the CAT4 assessment.
  • Year 12 and Year 13: Assessment includes interviews and a review of past academic performance.

Offer: If successful, a formal offer will be made contingent on seat availability. Parents have 7 working days to accept the offer and fulfil payment obligations.

Additional Information: Parents of newly accepted IBDP students discuss subject options with the academic staff. Information on term dates, uniform requirements, and the school-parent communication system is shared during enrollment.

Orientation Day: At the beginning of the school year, new students attend an orientation session with a special schedule for EY1 and EY2 children and their parents.

Emirates International School—Meadows partners with Diamond Lease to offer a comprehensive school bus service. The service ensures students have safe and reliable transport to and from school. Students must register at the beginning of each school year to access this service.

The school buses are fully compliant with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) standards. They feature seat belts, professional and well-trained drivers, and a female bus supervisor overseeing the safety and conduct of the students. The buses depart from the school promptly at 03:05 PM.

The school enforces strict rules on bus behaviour to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Key regulations include mandatory seat belt usage, remaining seated throughout the journey, and prohibitions against eating, drinking, and loud talking. Students are also expected to follow the instructions of the bus supervisor and driver at all times.
