The peaceful neighborhood of Al Abar has been a great place to raise a family. The calm and tranquil environment and proximity of essential amenities are just what I was longing for. While children and people of older age groups may not mind the quietness of the community, youngsters may not find this place as exciting.
I relocated to Al Abar recently with my family. The calm and quiet suburban ambiance is perfect for families. Plus, there is no shortage of other amenities and facilities here. I just wish the public transportation system was better here. I have to rely greatly on driving to travel to and from Al Abar as there aren’t many bus routes connecting Al Abar.
Al Abar has a very homogenous community, but nevertheless, I was surprised to receive a welcoming reception from my Emirati neighbors. Al Abar is unlike most Sharjah districts. Al Abar is quieter and calmer as there are only rows and rows of private residential villas.
Al Abar has been a dream place to live in. It’s a family-friendly environment with some of the best schools around, and the proximity to mosques makes it an ideal neighborhood for me and my family. Plus, the nearby Al Abar Park is a great destination for taking the children out to play and relax.
Al Abar may not be as exciting as the prime locations of Sharjah, but the area does not lack basic amenities and services. From reputed schools to local diners, the infrastructure here is adequate enough to lead a good lifestyle. The only problem here is the traffic, which becomes hard to tackle, especially during school hours.
