JLT is just 30 minutes’ drive away, but the most attractive part of Dubai is that it is quite close to the bus stops and metro stations. Both are accessible within walking distance. This makes my daily commute to and from work easier.
The communities at JLT are very friendly, and there are many open spaces that are pedestrian even though the area is filled with high-rise buildings. Schools and healthcare are easily accessible, and JLT hosts many social events that are great for recreation.
The JLT area is only filled with skyscrapers and is not very pleasant to the eyes if you seek open sky and want to see the horizon from the street. People who like living in open areas may find living here a bit claustrophobic.
I love the fact that JLT has all the necessary social infrastructure within walking distance of the residential area. Finding parking is not much of a hassle and the convenient location of malls and other convenient stores makes living comfortably.
The position of JLT is close to all notable sights within Dubai and can be reached with a mere 30 mins dive. From downtown to the international airport, all are well accessible via Sheikh Zayed Road.
