Dubai, UAE is one of the wealthiest cities in the world that mostly takes the front row in terms of infrastructure, architecture, technology, and progressing multiple industries. The city’s architecture never goes shabby and it keeps coming up with Upcoming projects in Dubai and properties that might introduce novel techniques and technologies to variant industries.

The Dubai Creek Tower

The Tower would be standing tall in the middle of the residential and retail development complex Dubai Creek Harbour. Although the tower was anticipated to be completed by 2025, but since the pandemic hit, the construction has been put on hold.

Challenging the height of Burj Khalifa, which is by far the tallest standing tower in the world. The Dubai Creek Tower is anticipated to stand tall, of about more than 1,000m in height. The total construction cost was estimated at 3.67 billion AED.

The Concept and Construction of the Tower

The tower not only comes forth to challenge the existing Burj Khalifa, but also would also astonish the world, and especially Architecture enthusiasts. The core concept of the tower takes a new step to evolve the bult-up fabric of Dubai and to create something innovative, hence challenging the existing architectural prospect of the city.

The chairman of Emaar properties quotes the tower as elegant and monumental which would be adding value to the property development and would be further evolved by the city’s creek and the company.

This Upcoming projects in Dubai has been designed by an engineering firm, Aurecon along with one of the renowned architects, Santiago Calatrava and its design is definitely something that would tickle your imagination.

The design of the tower would be slender and sleek, mimicing the effigy of a minaret. The central tower in reinforced concrete would be standing erect along with sturdy steel cables to the ground. The central tower would be reaching into the sky and the cables would be structurally held by the ground. Looking at a structure like this would be visually appealing and would make most of us question the construction and the structure of  the tower. I guess that’s the whole point. The night view of the tower would be to die for with the emitting ‘beacon of light’ from its peak and the oval shaped bud incorporating ten observation decks which also includes a pinnacle room which would rotate a full circle to 360 degrees and gives you the breath-taking view of the city. Are you also planning a date night in your head?

The expected year of completion of the project was 2025 and in the year 2017, in the month of January, the original design was displayed in the complex’s sales centre and in February 2017, a rendering of the tower was prepared which portrayed the structure of the  tower being supported by cables.

Dubai Harbour

Inspired by their connection to the sea, a luxury maritime lifestyle cruise terminal was constructed on the seafront district. Not only this has become the bearer of the title of the “largest marina”, but also stands as a staple architectural element in the city.

The global hub is located at the intersection of the Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters, which falls in equal distance to the Dubai International airport and the Al Maktoum International Airport. This port would entertain people from all around the world and mark the city’s position as one of the world’s leading destinations and global hubs.

The Concept and Planning of the Hub

The planning of the hub is done in a way that not only keeps other famous attractions including Ain Dubai, and Burj-Al-Arab a few sails away, but also reflects as one of the unique waterfront neighbourhoods to exist. The terminal also offers the guests the view one could die for on the grounds of the terminal.

The port would be holding 700 berths and would be competent to capacitate yatches which are almost 160m in length, and houses variant sectors including a restaurant, a satellite marine office, a skydiving ground and center, storage areas, crew facilities, and a helipad adjacent to the office building.

The architectural masterpiece would be standing amidst the water body, running a functional cruise terminal along with conveying a few recreational, hospitality, and commercial zones within. An ambitious tourist destination, with a luxury getaway, would just be a few subcategories of what this hub might offer.

Experiencing what this hub might offer in literal terms is definitely going to be more in reality! The hub would be certainly something that would gain attention. Moving on, lets have a brief look at the Museum of Future:

The construction angles and the method of construction would definitely be something that would attract architecture enthusiasts and professionals.

The Museum has been designed by Killa Design and Architecture Studio, Engineered by Buro Happold. The exterior facade of the building comes with astonishing features accentuating the concept of the building including the windows designed in a way that it forms an Arabic poem about Dubai’s future, written by the ruler. A shell in the shape of a torus sits on the top of the building containing 1024 fire-retardant composite panels with stainless steel cladding. Each of these panels has a unique 3d shape, which creates the facade font.

The building would be conceptualized in terms of parametric architecture, and BIM tools (Building Information Modelling) which would help the internal steel structure to grow digitally.

The floor planning of the museum involves planning of seven floors that are dedicated to different exhibitions. Out of these, three floors focus on heads like bioengineering, ecosystems, health and wellbeing, and space resource development. The remaining floors in the museum present incoming technologies focussing on health, food, water, energy, and transportation and the last floor has been dedicated to children.

Sushisamba

Incorporating a homogenous amalgamation of three cultures including Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian, the Sushisimba restaurant would inspire its culture and cuisine in ballyhoo of the same.

Concept

The early 20th century bore a lot of Japanese emigrants travelling to South America, cultivating coffee plantations, and finding their fortune. The triculture flourished much later, involving cities from Peru, Brazil, and Japan. This cultural integration became the spirit of the restaurant. The experience in Sushisamba is going to be worth remembering and would be like celebrating all three traditions at one place and exploring them at the same time.

The restaurant would be located on the 51st floor of the Palm Tower, offering an unobstructed view of the skyline. Planning a dinner night? We think this can be one of the perfect spots to spend the evening. Just imagining at a roof-top dine-in with the view of the Jumeirah coastline, Arabian Gulf, Ain Dubai, and moreover, the Dubai skyline would just give the chills.

Anticipated as the highest restaurant on Palm Island, with two elevators going up to 230 meters, leading to a destination amidst clouds, with the view of Dubai. Coming to the interiors of the restaurant, the place seems to be adorned with elements and materials inspired by the triculture. For eg: the 3d printed ceiling installation and the elaborate woodwork and weaving methodologies come from the same place along with warm lighting and accent elements. A theatre-style open kitchen is showcased in the robata grill and sushi bar, which is at the heart of the dining area.

The whole place focuses on the experience of the user and stays true to its concept of triculture. The restaurant would be making sure of the authenticity and would make sure to cater that to the best via the aura and the cuisine of the restaurant.
